Spicks and Specks is brand defining content for the ABC.  It is one of the most recognisable ABC brands so it was pleasure to work on the concept design and art direct the photo shoot for the program’s return in 2022.

The shoot was a series of images reminiscent of classic rock band photo shoots. We want to avoid specific album cover references and instead take inspiration from classic, stylised band photos and poses. We shot in the classic Melbourne night club Yah Yahs in Fitzroy which provided amazing grungey rock inspired back plates. Myf, Alan and Adam played along, bringing their best rock personas and we had a lot of fun. The result was a series of eye catching art and the campaign ran across all owned platforms, social, TV and outdoor.
